Biogas Emissions Monitoring

Methane derived from waste (biogas) is an increasingly important source of natural gas, and has a strong role to play in tackling climate change by reducing demand on fossil fuels. Landfill gas to energy (LFGE) plants harvest the methane emitted from the natural decomposition at landfill sites. Anaerobic digestion facilities enclose the process and capture gas that would otherwise have been lost to the atmosphere.

Similar to the oil and gas industry, biogas producers face the challenge of keeping the product from being emitted.

QLM’s system is an ideal solution for monitoring biogas facilities and helping to ensure that the process remains as environmentally sustainable.
