QLM Is Granted Its Latest US Patent for Gas Quantification Algorithm

Today QLM has add yet another US patent to our growing portfolio. In this patent, US 11,714,047, “Method to Determine Gas Absorption in Rapidly Tuned Diode Lidar,“ we have patented our unique gas emission rate quantification algorithm. QLM’s Quantum Gas Lidar measures the absorption of the atmosphere versus laser wavelength and isolates, identifies, and accurately counts the number of methane molecules that contributes to this absorption. By precisely counting the number of methane molecules in the lidar laser image, we can quantify the three dimensions of a fugitive emission gas plume and measure exactly the size (i.e. flow rate) of the emission.
