QLM Lidar Methane Camera Successfully Trialed BY ENEOS Xplora in Japan with SLB
QLM's lidar methane camera has been trialed for fixed continuous emissions monitoring by ENEOS Xplora in Japan with SLB and successfully visualized and quantified the methane emissions from their natural gas production facility at their Nakajo oil and gas field in Niigata. ENEOS is the largest energy, resources, and materials corporation in Japan and has been a pioneer in environmental measures and global warming prevention. ENEOS confirmed the capability to detect the methane emissions during minor air vent operations. Based on the successful results of the test, they are considering utilizing our technology at their operational sites to continue enhancing operational efficiency and sophistication with digital technologies.
