24/7 Nighttime Methane Detection & Quantification

Are you afraid of the dark? We aren’t! QLM’s gas imaging lidar camera is capable of detecting and imaging methane plumes and quantifying emission rates, all in complete darkness, unlike technologies that rely on passive illumination (i.e. sunlight) for imaging. The gas plume image below (right) is superimposed on the lidar’s intensity measurement, providing context imagery of the nearby equipment, making the emission source easy to pinpoint.
