QLM Exceeds EPA Quantification Requirements

Plume of the Week! EPA’s recently released methane rules for O&G require 0.4 kg/h Minimum Detection Level (MDL) for technologies like QLM’s Quantum Gas Lidar in order to be approved for use as Continuous Monitor Solutions (CMS). We exceed these requirements – you can see one such typical example from our METEC testing below. CMS solutions must also be able to take a methane measurement at least every 12 hours which is also not an issue for QLM’s (of course, laser-based) lidar, even during winter at high latitudes and at night.
